Watch X-Men: The Last Stand

X-Men: The Last Stand again does a decent job with the Marvel Universe, despite a few key cast members being involved with other movies. Wonder if James Marsden feels stupid for choosing Superman over this movie? While this chapter of the X-Men story was less compelling and amusing then the previous two entries, it still was a better piece of work than Superman.

Watch X2: X-Men United

X2: X-Men United is the sequel to X-Men and it does equally as good of a job as X-Men did in expanding Stan Lee’s Marvel Universe. Marvel waited a long time to make these movies and it paid off a lot more than most of DC Comics’ notoriously lousy movies. The acting is tight, the story lines are adequate and the effects… well, the effects are simply perfect!
Personally, I wish they had done more with the Nightcrawler character. Kurt was always a lot more amusing in the original comics… even with his angst… or maybe it was because of his angst?
